Sugar Land Health Care Center offers both short and long-term care for the individuals suffering with heart disease, COPD, Diabetes, and a variety of other diagnoses.

Our experienced nurses monitor our residents’ health status, administer medication and ensure physician orders for other treatments are followed. They also coordinate the services and care of other health care providers such as specialists. Our knowledge and years of experience enable us to provide quality and cost effective services in a professional manner.

Registered nurses assist patients by:

• Making a comprehensive initial evaluation
• Reevaluating their needs as their condition changes or improves
• Planning preventative and rehabilitative care
• Communicating and coordinating any changes in condition with physicians and other caregivers

Services include: pharmacy, laboratory, pain management, wound management, IV therapy, trach/respiratory care, dental and podiatry.

Registered nurses provide:

• Intravenous therapy
• Intramuscular injections
• Foley catheter insertions
• Medication management
• Patient teaching regarding illness and/or injury
• Prevention of skin breakdown
• Fall assessments and interventions
• Cardiac
